After the Hailstorm

One afternoon in July, 2002, in a small village of a western province in China, the dark clouds gathered very fast and soon the strong wind whirled around the trees. The hailstorm came and went in half an hour. Hailstones of various sizes, some as big as an egg, a walnut, a plum and a peanut were everywhere. After the storm, all the villagers could see was a field of white ice balls. They were dazed for a short while, and then everyone rushed to check their crops in the fields.

There were no crops, all leaves were stripped, and only bare stocks remained.

Surprisingly enough , there were a few areas with crops intact like nothing had happened. The villagers very soon identified the owners of those fields; those fields belonged to no one other than Falun Gong practitioners.

The entire village understood instantly. For three years, the government-controlled media had bombarded them with false, slandering propaganda against Falun Gong; claiming that practitoners were murderers and rapists; they killed their own babies; they burned themselves to death; they became insane etc.

Suddenly, after the hailstorm, they were aware that none of those media claims were true, and that the good will be rewarded, and Gods in heaven obviously favor those good people on earth.
