August Update from Friends of Falun Gong

I recently received a monthly update for August from Friends of Falun Gong, I have posted the letter keeping us abreast of the human rights violations and responses from around the world here

Terry Marsh has filed a lawsuit against two doctors who have overseen organ harvesting in China. She stated that there will be more lawsuits too.

I for one am glad that Terry is out there working so hard on all of this. She is a true blessing to the human race.

Her hard work is going to make our world a better place.

Kudos to Terry and all the other hard working people here on Earth that are trying to make a difference and stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China

Dave

Is Mr. Marsh going to sue Harry Wu too?

Harry Wu, the founder of Laogai Research Foundation has published an open letter on his own investigation of Sujiatun allegation, and how when his conclusion didn't agree with Falun Gong, they turned on him:

You should know that the CCP has already covered up Sujiatun. That was in March or April? To stay current, you should have a read of the independent investigative report entitled "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China":
http://investigation.go.saveinter.net/

Maybe that will clear things up for you.

Gary, read Wu's report. His investigators were on the ground 3 days after the news (3/12) 10,000 people including doctors nurses guards, equipment and supply, vanished into thin air in 3 days? That is science fiction.

And here's an FYI, the Kilgour report has been debunked already. Read the Congressional Executive Commission on China brief, as well as US State Department's own investigation:

Hello-

I thank you for your work in publicizing this atrocity.

I checked out the links provided by the above comments, to provide a different perspective.

I think that the Kilgour report is strong, and not debunked as stated above. Anyone can examine this for themselves at:

http://investigation.go.saveinter.net/

To dismiss the recordings of phone calls to hospitals where staff admit to providing organs from Falun Gong practitioners - just because practitioners were involved in making the calls - is wrong. These calls provide powerful evidence supporting the allegations - circumstantial, yes, for now, but I feel this story will gain traction as it unfolds.

Please read it for yourselves and draw your own conclusions.

As for Mr. Wu's first person account, I have to keep it in perspective. His account of dialogues with Falun Gong representatives is just that - his account.

I understand from his words that the way that this story has been handled does not meet his standards for a proper investigation. Nevertheless, Canada's former Secretary of State (Asia/Pacific)David Kilgour and David Matas, director of the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development, conducted a two month investigation before releasing the above mentioned report.

But again, read it for yourself and decide.

The State Department's investigation of these allegations is flimsy, as is the commission brief. The impression I get is that of a hand-held after-the-fact tour through limited areas of the facility. This is just my impression, but it is based on my understanding of the sinister, deceptive nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

It is this very nature that is evident in the way the CCP has propagated the myth behind the persecution of Falun Gong. Just watch the brief documentary, Falsefire.

http://www.falsefire.com/index1.htm

I believe this was prepared by Falun Gong practitioners after the supposed self-immolation in 2001. This event had a tremendous impact on China's populace and its view of Falun Gong.

Watch it yourself, and decide. If you agree that it was a staged incident, what does that tell you of the nature of those behind the persecution?

Why would this need to be done?

Falun Gong has no political ambitions, and is not seeking regime change in China. In every country where it is practiced, tell me, are they (Falun Gong)talking about anything else other than the beauty of the practice and the fact that the CCP is persecuting them?

If they are so political, who is the Falun Gong party candidate? What is the platform: Truth - Compassion - Tolerance?

Does communicating with governments and the media, and talking about being persecuted by one of the most powerful governments on earth, ruled by a party that cannot be challenged and historically murdered tens-of-millions of its own people, mean Falun Gong is 'political?'

If sources come from Chinese state media or government spokespeople, they should be immediately discarded.

The Falun Gong are being persecuted because of their beliefs - plain and simple. I believe that more information and human rights horror stories will be forthcoming as the world pays more attention to this.

I also feel that those supporting this are not against China - on the contrary, they are for China. The CCP is not China, and the Chinese people would be better off without them. By exposing this to the world and to Chinese people, they can make a more informed decision concerning whether they want to live under the cloak of deception.

Falun Gong has no motive to deceive me as a person - they did not create the persecution to further an agenda. I cannot say the same about the CCP.

The Truth:
Note that Kilgour-Matas report was released July 6th...
```````````````````````````````
In fact, Mr. Wu already seemed intent on refuting the allegations before he fully understood the situation. His March 21, 2006 letter to members of Congress stated that news of a concentration camp in Sujiatun was fabricated, and that his position was based on “first hand investigations conducted.” Yet, in a later statement he says his “team” did not investigate the hospital in Sujiatun until March 27. The witnesses saw Mr. Wu's disposition as hostile and refused to meet with him under such circumstances.
It should be noted that where Mr. Wu failed to find evidence, others have found plenty. Most notable are independent investigators David Matas, an international human rights lawyer, and David Kilgour, a former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia Pacific. In their 140-page report (http://investigation.go.saveinter.net), they state:
We believe that there has been and continues today to be large scale organ seizures from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners… Our conclusion comes not from any one single item of evidence, but rather the piecing together of all the evidence we have considered. Each portion of the evidence we have considered is, in itself, verifiable and, in most cases, incontestable. Put together, they paint a damning whole picture.
