Printed by "The Citizen" a Canadian Newpaper

Dear Sir:

Re: Peter King's letter in response to the Aug.23rd editorial "China in the spotlight"
Mr. King seems to think that it's more important not to disappoint a few athletes than to embarrass a Communist regime that is carrying out a genocide on millions of people who only want to achieve spiritual enlightenment. Putting a huge dent in national pride may finally help to make them end the persecution of Falun Gong.

Culture has nothing to do with it. To treasure life is common to all humanity. The Chinese Communist regime has totally lost its humanity.

I fully support the call to the Canadian government to boycott China's Olympic Games. But they need to take it a step further. The boycott just calls for an end to organ harvesting. It needs to call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. Then there would be no further huge supply of live organs for Chinese authorities to use.

Sincerely,
Susan Mitchell
